
We are so excited to welcome all the grown-ups tomorrow! Here are a couple of quick reminders.
🍩 Parking is available at Gateway Church (8925 Youree), and a shuttle will drop you off in front of the school. The event starts at 8:30
🍩 Please have your ID ready to show our staff at the tables in front of the school to sign -in and receive your visitor sticker
🍩 Enter the school and go to the right and head out to the Breezeway to wait for your child. They will meet you at their grade level post.
🍩 Enjoy visiting the book fair in the library, taking a selfie at one of the photo backdrops in the breezeway, and come to the auditorium to enjoy a doughnut with your child.
🍩 If you would like to check your child out, send them back to their classroom to collect their belongings. Head to the office to sign them out, and they will meet you in front of the office. All children must be signed out at with the office.
🍩No Parent lunches Thursday or Friday since we are having Donuts for Grown Ups


Congratulations to University's New Teacher of the Year, Ms. LeBlanc! This year is Ms. LeBlanc's second year teaching, and we are so fortunate to have her on staff!!!



Reminder! Literacy Night is tonight! Storytelling with grade level teachers, PTA book give away, the Caddo Parish Parent Resource Center, DOEC, and the Shreveport Memorial Library will be present for this event! You will be able to visit and purchase books at the Book Fair in the Library. We can't wait to see you!

University is supporting our community's Coats for Kids drive. We are asking for donations of gently used or new coats for kids! If you have coats or jackets your children have outgrown, please put them in the Coats for Kids container near the school's office (no other clothing items). Thank you for supporting helping the children in our community stay warm this winter! The donated jackets will be picked up once before Thanksgiving and again before the Christmas holidays.


Reminder for Friday's event! The 2nd Graders would like to extend an invitation to their families and all Military Service Veterans of ANY UES family to attend their performance on November 10 at 10:30am.
