Back Gate Walking Students AM & PM Issues (UES): Students that live in the neighborhood directly behind the school can enter the back gate from 7:10-7:25. The gate is locked at 7:25. Any students coming in past 7:25 must come to the front of the school and be signed in as tardy by a parent. In the afternoon parents/guardians are parking on the street behind the back gate and causing a traffic jam on the neighborhood street. Students walking in the afternoon should be walking home, not being picked up in a car.

Every Wednesday our teachers plan together for the next week's lessons.  We would LOVE some snack and drink donations for the teachers to enjoy during this time.  They work so hard for our children! WOW! What a great turn out for using our school store! I want to personally thank all the families who have already participated in our SchoolStore fundraiser! We are on our way to reaching our goals, but we need everyone's help to make sure our teachers get the essential tools they need to help our students succeed. Our goal is for every teacher to receive 1 gift card and to raise $500 for our staff hospitality fund! So far we have raised $222.15 toward the staff hospitality fund and 33 of 58 teachers have received a gift card. Don't forget enrichment teachers, gifted teachers, and special education teachers! Sign up to eat with your child at their lunch time! This sign up is only for September. We are looking to add more dates and spots in October! Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your child's schedule lunch time to check into the office. We have reserved a section of tables outside for parents and their children to sit together and eat during the child’s regularly scheduled lunch time.
